Valhalla started over 40 years ago as a place for graduate students to hang out, relax and socialize after a long day of school/work. Four decades later, not much has changed. Located under the stairs to Keck Hall 100, Valhalla is staffed by graduate students and alumni volunteers with student co-managers who report to the Board of Directors of V&W Permits Inc. They are a popular lunch spot (11:30 am – 1 pm, M-F) for their inexpensive selection of Jersey Mike’s subs and Les Grival’s Banh Mi sandwiches. Valhalla offers a wide selection of draft and bottled beers along with assorted snacks.
