Four Lunch and Lead sessions are held every semester, and focus¬†on a unique leadership topic designed to enhance students‚Äô skills and knowledge. Past topics have ranged from¬†legacy development to effective delegation. Sessions are open to any current Rice student,¬†faculty,¬†or staff. Rejection stings. It can be hard to not take it personally. However, if used properly, rejection can be a great springboard for growth and can ultimately benefit you as an individual. Everyone deals with rejection at some point, even though it may not seem like it at Rice. The presenters will break down that facade, and help you utilize some basic skills and provide tips to make the most out of a very common occurrence. This session will go over healthy ways to deal with rejection and use it to garner future success.
