Four Lunch and Lead sessions are held every semester, and focus on a unique leadership topic designed to enhance students’ skills and knowledge. Past topics have ranged from legacy development to effective delegation. Sessions are open to any current Rice student, faculty, or staff. Lunch is provided on a first come, first served basis while supplies last! Please RSVP for upcoming Lunch and Lead programs.

In this session we will contextualize a theoretical commitment to inclusivity as an intentional process from articulating mission, investigating program practice implications, collecting and analyzing program data, and tackling aspects of program design that are often taken for granted–applications. We offer a case study from Center for Civic Leadership’s learn level program and offer strategies for tweaking and/or reimagining your own recruitment, application, and selection processes to be more inclusive and equitable.
