Interested in getting involved at Rice? Clubs and offices interested in plugging in students during the Spring semester will be on hand for the Spring Involvement Fair on January 19th from noon-4pm. Come to the Grand Hall in the RMC and learn more about ways that you can engage in the Rice community, and contribute with an office or club on campus.

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day the Student Center will have limited hours on Monday, January 16th. The building will open at 5 p.m. and be open until 2 a.m. Spring building hours will resume on Tuesday.

The Student Center will be hosting an open house next week. If you are still unfamiliar with all the businesses and services in our facility, be sure to walk through and meet the people who keep the Student Center running.

Welcome back! The Student Center has exciting new changes for 2012. Thanks to RESET, the student center now has a Bottle Filling Station near the old coffeehouse to fill your reusable bottles with cold, filtered water. Also, Housing and Dining has brought in a new vendor for lunch. ”The Owl Cove” is scheduled to open on Tuesday, Jan. 16 featuring Chinese food from “O’Yeah Cafe,” 11 – 2 pm, Monday – Friday.
