Caitlin grew up near Milwaukee, WI and received her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Social Work from the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point. While at UWSP, she was able to grow as a leader through her roles in student organizations and on-campus student employment, leading to her decision to pursue a Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. Since then, she worked at Gettysburg College overseeing student organizations, greek life, the information desk, and the campus student engagement platform.

In 2021, she moved to Rice University to work in the Student Center. Soon after arriving, an opportunity arose to move into the newly combined role of Associate Director of Facilities, Events, and Student Run Businesses. In this role, she advises the three Student Run Businesses (Rice Bikes, The Hoot, and Coffeehouse), the RMC Info Desk, and oversees the physical student center building including policies, facilities management, etc. She is also a Resident Associate at Jones College! Her favorite part of her work is helping students develop their own voice and leadership identity. Her hope is that each student she meets with will be challenged to be a change agent in their specific leadership role and that they are growing both within their role and individually. Outside of work, Caitlin enjoys going to the theater, reading, traveling, and spending time with her dog, Calypso!

Cristy, originally from Mexico, graduated from Texas A&M University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Visualization and a minor in Mathematics. After working at a marketing firm and a higher education institution, she realized she really enjoyed working with students and helping them achieve their dreams and goals. She started working at Rice University as Assistant Director of Student Run Businesses and Marketing in February 2017. She loves working with the SRBs, and she is proud of the growth and development each SRB achieves every year. As this is Cristy's first advising position, she is passionate about developing her skills as an advisor. She is currently working on getting her Master's in Higher Education from the University of Houston. Her passions are graphic design, photography, movies, young adult books, good food, coffee and boba tea, concerts, karaoke, and gaming (especially anything League of Legends related). Cristy is expressive, motivated, creative, and open-minded.
