Equipment Rentals

When renting equipment from an off-campus vendor, please contact the Office of Student Activities. The University's Director of Risk Management (Renee Block, rab@rice.edu, 713-743-4751) will insure the equipment in the event of theft, lost property, or damage, and protect your club from liability. Please note that an insurance premium may be assessed if renting equipment. Make sure that you contact the Office of Student Activities (sactclubs@rice.edu) before you make the final arrangements with the vendor.
