Club Complaint Process
To ensure that your complaint about a registered student organization is addressed promptly and appropriately, please follow the procedure outlined below:
Initial Complaint Routing
- Submit Written Complaint to Student Activities: All complaints should be initially routed to the Office of Student Activities (SACT) by emailing studentactivities@rice.edu.
- Evaluation: SACT will evaluate the complaint to determine whether it should be handled within their office or referred to another department on campus.
- Notification: If the complaint is referred to another department, both the complainant and the relevant office will be notified. If the complaint is overseen by SACT, a staff member will contact the complainant regarding next steps.
